Without even realizing yesterday was the eve of Cinco de Mayo (my internal calendar is so off at the moment, as I continue to recoup from surgery), I was hunting around etsy and eBay last night looking at vintage Mexican garments, because I really don't have many such pieces in my wardrobe and would love to add more (didn't find any that I couldn't pass up yet, but it's a search I'll be sticking with for sure - especially because it's high time I finally got my first hand painted circle skirt!).

♥ Jessica Witchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1996714999522387839.post-45812160072344369602013-05-05T19:43:44.488-04:002013-05-05T19:43:44.488-04:00I learned the history of Cinco de Mayo because I h...I learned the history of Cinco de Mayo because I have a Mexican son-in-law. We were talking about having a celebration and I asked him how they celebrated back home and he didn't know what I was talking about. lol I had always heard it was their Independence day but started researching it after that.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00545023539161418817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1996714999522387839.post-61271307601096268922013-05-05T16:00:14.432-04:002013-05-05T16:00:14.432-04:00Great post! We remember the history but don't get overly involved in it. I do like seeing the celebrations on Spanish tv o n Sept 16th. They have awesome dance numbers and even better fireworks displays. I'm a sucker for fireworks.Mariela Santillanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05293755332845325555noreply@blogger.com
