Our room is very similar in size and layout. We even have the walk around fireplace. Of course there are differences and things that will not work for our room, but I am in love with that fireplace and have lots of ideas on how I can get a similar look.
I thought it would be fun to share this decorating adventure with you so expect some more posts on this subject.

How lovely that you're doing some redecorating. I sure know that the next time I go to revamp a room (or move into a new house) Pinterest with be my leading source of decor inspiration, too. The room you shared is so timelessly appealing - I adore the idea of having rattan chairs in the same room with a brick fireplace.

Oh I would love to have a fireplace. It makes your home so cosey! The picture you should is very lovely. I love the soft colors combined with the wooden table and chairs.
