Blue and Orange Outfit

Here's a quick post of what I wore.  I love the color scheme of this modern dress and the style has a retro feel.  I paired it with a cardigan in the same blue and added some tights for warmth.  My cute vintage scarab bracelet I found many years ago at a yard sale for a quarter!  How awesome is that!  And my vintage rose pin was given to me by my mother-in-law.  I feel very June Cleaver-ish in this outfit and most of my boys got into as much mischief as Beaver ever did.  My hair is styled from a hot roller set done the day before.  Sometimes it takes really well and will hold for a couple days, other times it falls out before the day is through.

  1. Love the colors of the dress! Great bracelet too, it's always better when you buy vintage for a deal!!!

    1. Thanks! I have probably had that bracelet for about 20 years now and I love it more now than I did when I originally found it.

  2. Fantastic palette and outfit! I adore that you're a fellow fan of wearing colour, too. I sported a similar palette this year for Tony's birthday, as orange is favourite colour and wanted to ensure I wore some for his special day (but at the same time, didn't want to come across as looking "Halloweeny", which blue can really help prevent).

Wishing you a beautiful Sunday, dear lady,
    ♥ Jessica
