I wanted to share my new cloche hats with you that I talked about here. I've been wanting to find a good winter hat and I thought these two were darling. What do you think? I love the feather details on both of them.
I found them at TJ Maxx for about $15 each, which makes them even better since I am trying to ease myself into hat wearing and discover which style works best for my face before I invest in some vintage ones. Here I am wearing the hats. What do you think, does this style suit me?
You can't really tell from the photos but the one with the brown feathers has a little turned up side opposite the feathers which makes it sit differently on my head. The feathered side is lower. The other hat isn't like that, it is level all the way around. I can't decide which one I like better.
Il est très beau, et avec les plumes j'adore. Belle trouvaille.....
ReplyDeleteThank you, I love the feathers too.
Deleteyes TJ's has the best hats, I have to go see what they have, I've gotten a few for winter there too and beautiful leather gloves.
ReplyDeleteI got some nice gloves there last year. Love that store!
DeleteThis post makes my hat loving heart happy! Fantastic finds, they have a very vintage appropriate feel and look positively wonderful on. I've tried on scads of cloches (both vintage and modern) and have yet to find anything that look good on me. In fact, I'd say cloches are the least flattering hats I've tried. Still, I love a good challenge, and continue to try them on in shops, as I'm sure there must be at least one out that that would look a fraction as nice on me as these beauties do on you.
